Cooking Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt.

  2. Add water gradually while mixing and knead with vour hands until the dough is smooth. set aside at room temperature for at least 15-30 minutes.

  3. Divide the dough into four equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball. Cover the dough balls loosely with a cloth and let rest for a minimum of 5-10 minutes.

  4. When you are ready to cook the roti, heat the tawa, dry cast -iron skillet or griddle over medium heat until hot.

  5. Using the rolling pin, roll the dough. Flip, rotate and roll until it becomes an even 9-inches round 1/4.

  6. Pick up the dough, place it on the palm of vour hand and lay it on the tawa. Cook until slight bubbles appear.

• 1 tsp salt

• 1/2 lukewarm water
